Big Day Today
Today is the Day! Waahooo! This is it boys and girls.
So I started day like so many others, I got up 05dark15 and had a cup of coffee on the liani. It was a cool morning, 78* with a breeze from the east. The weatherperson says it is going to be a nice day in the upper 80's with a chance of rain showers this afternoon.
Today for my early morning bike ride I chose to wear my Livestrong Jersey and Livestrong Shorts. My Livestrong bracelet broke! Boohoo!
I decided to do my usual midweek course of 25 miles around my community sprinting on the straights and just trying to get a good workout, ave speed 21 mph.
My surgery is scheduled for 2:00pm. I have spent the last two days talking with my oncologist and my surgeon and my dermatologist as to the best way to proceed. The good news is the tumor is not in any vital organ! HURRAY!! It is located in my left arm, the bicep.
So the first question was , "What about a sentinel node biopsy prior to the remove of the tumor?" A sentinel node biopsy is when the surgeon injects a dye into the tumor site and then massages (sounds nice massages!) it to the lymph nodes, the first nodes to which the cancer has spread.
Then the next question "So now the question how much of the arm do we take? Will I lose use of the arm or have any nerve damage? " How deep do we go and if amputation is necessary do they awaken me from surgery? YES ABSO.F'n.LUTLEY!
Then the next question is "When do we start chemotherapy and what kind?" Since I don't understand this I'm looking for information. Did you know, boys and girls, that chemo comes in KINDS? I wonder is it flavored? or just plain...what kind shall I get?... I'll take the Blue Agave Tequila Chemo please or perhaps I'll take the Chardonnay Chemo today!!
I've made arrangements to HK to take me and pick me up since I don't want The F'n Moron anywhere near me or even know what is going on.
I guess I'll miss my lunchtime swim and a causal ride with the Trek boys tonight?
So I'll write, boys and girls, when I can.
Have a nice day!

Great way to sart a bad day or ANOTHER F'n TUMOR
Good Morning boys and girls! Suzie doesn't feel good this morning, to much work painting in the bathroom and drinking beer. I love the new color but I did forget to take pictures. So when I got to work this morning boys and girls, I got a phone call from my dermatologist office. Now I didn't tell you that last weak Suzie had another little thing removed from her arm. So when I heard the doctor's office calling me when I was suppose to have the lab results on Monday Oct. 1 I knew they were not calling just to say HEYAS! Yup its another tumor or in medical terms a F'n melanoma. So now it's another surgery on Wednesday this week so you will probably have a subsitute blogger on Wednesday. Then it will be off to the oncologist for one of her magic potions when the lab results come in from the wide excision.
Ain't life F'n grand.
Have a Nice Day, boys and girls!

Depressed? Buy Something!
You know when the going gets tough...the tough goes and buys something! I have been somewhat down ...well a lot actually...well F'n DEPRESSED! So I've been thinking I need to buy myself a nice present. Yup that will help.... so I posted yesterday a bike I'm looking at.... here is my current ride
Yes, her name is Roo after Quintanna Roo the maker owned by Litespeed. She is 2 years old and has just been serviced and given a new set of tubes, tires, chain, cassette, brakes and serviced for the mere cost of $345.97 ...just for service! and I had to wash her!
But then I saw the below bike which I posted yesterday....all $6,000.00 worth of bike. She could be Roo's sister! What do you think? HUH HUH CAN I HUH?
I'm sure it would cheer me up better than tequila... O Roo is a TEQUILO!

Busy Weak
I can't tell you how busy I've been at work ..ugh! It seems I meet myself coming around the corner. This weak promises not to be any less busy as the President of our company is here for 3 days so I have meetings with him plus still getting my work done. My Team helps keep me on track but ugh... I was so busy, HOW BUSY WERE YOU?, I went home at 8 pm Friday nite and went straight to bed and I was asleep by 8:30!This weakend I did spend some time trying to clean out my closet to get my fall wardrobe in order HAHAHAHA.... from capris and shorts to slacks and sweaters. LB over at a day at a time added to her goals of "wearing a dress just for fun"... maybe I should do that??? I don't look good in a dress... I did buy a dress for my Godson's wedding. It's a cute blue dress. I don't want to look like the Mother of the Groom but then on the other hand I don't want to look like the Grandmother of the Bride either! I also got this cute pink top and white capris for a casual dinner on Thursday... It makes me look younger than I am.
I had to see the dermatologist on Monday. Of course he took another "growth" off to send to the lab. Will this ever stop? I will get the results in 2 weaks...ugh!
